Green Cross Strong news – Trenton, NJ: NJ AG reports 1.1.2020.

Naloxone is an opioid antidote medication designed to reverse the life threatening effects of an opioid overdose. Many New Jersey pharmacies dispense naloxone without an individualized prescription, using a “standing order” from a physician or the Department of Health.

You can obtain Naloxone from your local pharmacy even if you are not the intended user, but a family member, friend, or care giver.
